The Winter Rose...

This is the first of our Winter Roses (Hellebores) to flower this year. They are beautiful plants. We have a number of varieties in our garden and I look forward to them flowering.
With the shortest day now passed it’s nice to think spring is on its way. It is so dark when Maisie and I set out walking these early mornings. Maisie wears an illuminated collar so I can spot her in the distance as she checks out rabbit burrows. We call the collar her “Fairy Lights”.
I visited my hairdresser this morning for my first haircut for over three months. It was great to catch up with her and others I know at her home salon.
