A work in progress ......

....... very slow progress! I'm blaming the fine weather for my lack of quilting enthusiasm.

It was all change today as the rains came accompanied by fairly strong winds. Plans for a walk with  friend were put on hold so after a visit to the council recycling centre AKA 'the tip' I was determined not to fritter away the rest of the day ..... out came the sewing, the ruler, the marker pen, the templates and the needle and embroidery thread.

I managed quite a bit this afternoon without feeling the need for a snooze!
