................Mapourika

This is one of several lakes between Ross and Fox Glacier, NZ.

Bulrushes catching the afternoon light while surrounded in shadows. I loved the way they were growing in a straight line and with wonderful reflections in the smooth water of this lake.

It has been another day of blue sky, no wind and very warm sunshine - in fact, it was hot enough to be comfortable in a short sleeved top for part of the day!
Night and morning temperatures are quite the opposite and rather cold.


Another very big thank you for your continued comments, stars and hearts. As always, very much appreciated. I will thank every one who has given hearts individually, but it might not be until I return home in a few days.
