………………Mountains



These majestic mountains are part of the range forming the Southern Alps of the South Island of NZ and tower above the township of Fox, near the glacier of the same name.

This photo showing views of Aoraki/Mount Cook and Mount Tasman was taken from a viewing platform at Lake Matheson, renowned for wonderful reflections of these beauties when the water is mirror-like. Today as the sun was setting and the final rays were about to disappear they looked stunning.

It has been another warm sunny day with a lack of clouds and again only a slight breeze.
