Gotcha

The White Lettered Hairstreak butterfly is an elusive little insect, and I was delighted to spot one in the orchard this morning and needed to record it.  Not the best of pictures but the only picture I got before it escaped.

I ventured out earlier than usual and before the heat really got going, but still managed to stay out mooching for a couple of hours.
