Demoiselle

JJ was up for golf very early this morning, so I took the opportunity to go over to the country park with both cameras, the long lens and the macro.  It was a lovely sunny, and warm morning, but quite breezy.

There were thousands of damselflies, dozens of demoiselles, the odd chaser or skimmer and a dragonfly, and in all the time I was there I only saw two butterflies, both of which were small tortoiseshells.  This year seems to be a disaster for butterflies.
