Watching the gardeners

A wet start to the morning but by the time L and I set off to walk through Pollok Park the rain had stopped but some of the paths were rather muddy.

The gardeners were very busy planting up the formal beds in the walled garden and this little robin hopped by hoping to find a wee tasty something in the newly dug soil.

The afternoon was spent on the phone to my insurance broker and the garage. A big day tomorrow ..... I collect my new car which was ordered at the beginning of March. No choice of number plate but the one I have been given begins SA, standing of course for Silly Ali!
