The final few

Many petals have already fallen and I suspect that it won’t be too long before these flutter to the ground.

It looks like it’s raining but the hose sprinkler didn’t only soak the poppies ….. I somehow ended up in the line of fire and ended up with a rather damp tee shirt.

My car goes for it’s first service tomorrow and all personal items have to be removed …… it’s only when you empty the boot and all the wee storage pockets that you realise how much rubbish you carry in the car.
