Damsel Fly

Another red damsel fly, most years I see more blues than reds but at the moment at least the reds seem to be dominating.  I haven't yet seen any Beautiful Demoiselles and only one or two Darters but I live in hope.

We're going to visit friends tomorrow and spend a couple of hours chatting in their garden;  we're both looking forward to it and I think most of us have learned a new appreciation for the little things we used to take for granted.
