Plenty

The birds seem to be discovering the plums right about the same time we are. This guy was about three feet away from me, chirping constantly. I started out just trying to record the varied colors of the fruit, but then there he was. I’m puzzled by how posterized an iPhone photo can look sometimes. I think it may have to do with low light, but the bird, for instance, is not right. Does anybody know how to work around this phenomenon? I hate to settle for, “It’s not bad for an iPhone shot,” but that’s how I feel about it. On the other hand, it’s the shot I have, since my phone is usually in my pocket and my camera is not. Does anybody know how to work around this phenomenon?
