Teasel

I like architectural plants. This teasel we planted last year and it has now grown to be monumental at over 2 metres and still growing. My second image is of poppy seed heads, which in some ways I prefer to the flowers (and they last for much longer.)
A very hot, sunny day. Too hot for gardening after 2 hours this morning. Far more comfortable to be in the shade or in the cool of the house. I spent sometime trying to set up the JamKazam programme so I can jam with other musicians but failed to properly connect my external microphone and headphones. More technical issues to resolve.
