Today I met my son and his family on the National Mall for a socially distanced walk.  Without the tourists or the federal workers, the majority of people out were young joggers.  There were very few masks, but they may have felt that the space was wide enough to not require them.  My view is that it doesn't hurt.  Anyway, we walked quite a bit and ended up at the carousel.  It was closed of course, so Xander had to be satisfied with looking at the wooden horses from afar.
