A Scarlet Tiger, trapped in a plastic Gordons cup and quite cross, I expect.
We spotted this beauty in the garden as a flash of red, but when it came to rest all you could see was the colour scheme in the Extra. So I trapped it (gently) in the plastic cup for a photo. It's not a great shot, but I was wary of causing it damage.
I don't know if it's the current situation, but I've noticed more birds of prey (a kite prowling overhead quite frequently) and various insects and small birds. It has been quite a revelation, in many different ways.
In other news, I have a new camera, a Fujifilm X100F; but I'm keen to get it set up properly before I use it, so I didn't get a photo on it today. I'm not sure that I need four digital cameras but I do hate selling such lovely devices :-)
