I'll be in trouble . . .

 . . . if ever Mrs B discovers my photo of her – online as well.  This is the view out of my office again, with a jasmine newly place in the view towards the "wild flower" part of the garden.  There's a "dead hedge" there as well, as a refuge for whichever creature needs it.  We have never carried out a census of the inhabitants.

I had to make this photo monochrome as it was the quickest way to remove my reflection in the glass between us.

But I found a particularly rancid lump of poo in the middle of the grass, surrounded by the feathers of the dismembered pigeon that I had to collect the morning before.  I knew the rancidity of the poo as I had a sniff: it was almost a tarry smell.
