Scabious.

A busy day!  Beginning with loading the car with the branches etc we removed down by the road the other day.  By the time Clickychick was back it was lunch time.  After lunch I needed to complete the mowing of the grass at the Lodge.  I had strimmed the grass but then it needed the mower run over to reduce the height and make the lengths level.

Boy was it hot.  At times you could have wrung out my shirt.  Owing to the heat the job took far longer than usual, as I kept diving into the shade for a rest and cool down.

Arriving home before teatime i quickly went round the garden deciding which flower I would blip for today.   Scabious "Butterfly Blue"  caught my eye so here it is.
