Garden Guests

After school with the kids, including a paddle in the stream at Town Gate in Sutton Park, we drove down to Mike's brother's in Newport Pagnell. Karis met us there, from London. Ruth made us a lovely dinner of enchiladas and pavlova, which we ate at three different tables in the garden. 

Entertaining can be complicated in lockdown.

Gratefuls:
- getting to see Rick and Ruth before we go, thought we might not
- their generous hospitality, even in these times
- sitting in the sunshine, watching the red kites soaring overhead
