South Coast Scribblings

I thought I would blip the photo that was blurred in yesterday's flower photo. This was taken last November at Paul's graduation. He got a Foundation Degree with Sheffield College (online) and has now gone on to do a B.A. for two years (again online). He had health problems for many years, and has done so well to achieve what he has - he is very self-motivated.

We were all very interested to hear that the body of Richard III has been identified - it was found under the car park of Social Services in Leicester. It was amazing that they found it in the first trench they dug! (For those not from the U.K. - he was a King in the 1400's and was killed in battle by the army of the Tudor father of Henry VIII who had the six wives. The Tudors spread a lot of bad rumours about Richard III and Shakespeare wrote a play that made him out to be a villain. A Richard III society exists which aims to prove he was not a villain, and it's due to their endeavours that the excavation of his body took place). A friend of mine is a member of the society and got me interested in the subject in my early 20's and I read various books about him, but I never actually joined.
