Giant Lily

Back in Johnston Gardens today. A splendid sunny day, but the Gardens are not terribly busy, nor at their best at the moment (in my opinion). I had not intended to be here, and the lens I had on the camera was not ideal for the location.

I got this photo of a giant lily, top left, and then tried it out in different colours. All a bit better than the rather grungy green of the original. But that's nature, and we should not interfere too much.

I did see a family of ducks with four ducklings as they scurried past the bridge and into the shelter of the reeds. Those little ducklings better be very cautious, there are seagulls flying around that might fancy duckling for lunch or supper.
