Double Vision or Double Exposure?

This is my attempt at double exposure for abstract Thursday.
I liked the image of the lines of mown grass in the fields which I took this morning near Ripley so used this a a starting point.
I have stretched my photoshop expertise (and patience....) to its limit in trying to create a ghostly effect with it. There was only one tree on the other side of the field, where there now appears to be two. 
I made a mono image from the original and shifted and blended this with the original. (today's extra is the original)
