My topsy-turvy life

The anti-body

This scared the life out of me when I went for my COVID antibody test this morning. For a second I thought it was a real body...and then I remembered I was in the School of Nursing.

Antibody test done, taken to the lab, sent to -probably--Stoke for analysis. Just have to wait for the result now.
Not that the result will actually tell me much beyond whether or not I've had COVID-19, I suspect not.
It won't tell me I'm immune.
It won't tell me I can't be a carrier.
It won't tell me I can't pass the virus to anybody else.
It won't tell me i can treat patients with no worry.
It won't tell me I can stop wearing PPE.
It won't tell me I can be close to other people.
It won't tell me I can go to the pub.
It will only provide some statistics so we can hopefully answer those questions at some point.
