Trees' Major Enemy

"The disadvantage of being a tree is that it must survive in one place for a long time. ... In fact in most temperate regions the natural environment does favour trees in most places, and human activity is the major factor militating against them."

And now they want to build a load of houses on Sutton's green belt - makes me feel sad and angry.

These trees are on Manor Hill, between Sutton centre and Wyndley.
