Lower...

………….......Buller Gorge

We were homeward bound today and part of our journey took us through the pretty bush covered Buller Gorge.

I was standing on the banks of the Buller River in the area known as the Lower Buller Gorge which is between Inungahua and Westport on the West Coast of the South Island, NZ.

We woke to rain this morning, but it was clearing as we packed our bags for departure so we took another quick walk around the Pancake Rocks and Blow Holes at Punakaiki before heading for home. Three photos from this walk are featured as extras. To see the spectacular display of the Blow Holes in action wind, rough seas and a high tide are required - none were evident today!

Again, the comments, stars and hearts are very much appreciated. Thank you so much for these generous gifts. For the next couple of days I won’t be uploading a blip as I need time to thank you individually for the generous hearts and to visit your journals.
