Chocolate macaroons - from scratch

Our latest delivery had two coconuts in it. What to do? Well, macaroons, of course. I had fun with that this morning. They don't look too good, admittedly, but they are quite tasty, but a bit too sweet for my taste. There's still plenty of (now whizzed up) coconut left, so Mr A is going to try some competitive macaroon making later in the week.

This afternoon, Mr A made goat curry - the theme of this week's delivery having been Caribbean. It was delicious. I've put it up as an extra. Nothing to look at, but my goodness it was tasty with some roti bread (and brown rice). And definitely not tough or stringy. There's plenty left for tomorrow.
