Look Up ! (2)

Went to Chelmsford town centre today armed with camera and kept looking up, where everything is often so very much more interesting. This is the Coat of Arms and motto of the Borough of Chelmsford since 1888. It stands tall and proud, and largely unoticed in the High Street. I enjoyed both the bright blue sky behind it and the puzzled expressions of those walking by, who then also looked up and read the motto. "Many minds, one heart."
