Baby Chicks!

Our broody hen has claimed all the eggs for herself and has been sitting on 18 of them. Today two of the eggs hatched and everyone in the coop seems excited. The other hens have been climbing up into the coop to check on the babies (extra) and the roosters have been proactively guarding the doorway. This is the first time we have let the eggs hatch. It is pretty exciting for us, too.
