Swan visitors

This little swan family do a daily patrol around the narrowboats in search of food (I think). The signets are getting bigger everyday. It’s such a privilege to have the opportunity to live on the water and have these experiences. I am excited to see what each season brings with it.

The return of the cuckoo singing every morning is particularly exciting especially after learning about their declines in the book ‘Wilding’.
