Corroded plug

My mission today was to fix the corroded sink waste. It was so bad the whole thing dropped to bits as I was removing it from the sink. The local DIY shop and B and Q in town didn't have a replacement trap. I needed a whole new trap because the corrosion had stuck the plastic fast.
Turns out screw fix have the right trap but I couldn't be bothered to go back into town to get it. I'll collect it tomorrow.
It's been 12 degrees here today a huge contrast from last weeks 30.
One of the team leaders from work called and asked me to work all the Mondays in July and August - game on, can't wait to get back to it. She said she has more shifts for me once she's sorted out a rota.
