Tall Ones

They are still very young but it has been calculated that they will both tower above 2 meters.  They have the physical build of their father.

Saturday ended at 02.30 ... Poetry Marathon done!  Looking at my haul, I think I have 7 doable ones out of 12.

Out of bed at around 09.30.  By 12.15, we were at Son's place.  The shot shows the kids playing with the swords and shields I bought them from Rheydt -- they were fascinated!  They wanted to show us their rooms, so AW and I dutifully went upstairs to admire the set-ups.  They have the entire attic to themselves, with all the toys there, and graffitti and Donald Duck comic books on the walls, and all play chests with wheels, thanks to Son's very creative decisions.  After that, we eventually gravitated towards the garden, where an interplay between the trampoline and the pool ensued, resulting in two wet children and one wet Son.  Jumping from the trampoline into the pool was not all that recommended, though, albeit the splashes were quite satisfying.  Grandson can be quite insistent with regards to his sister -- 'When you make a mess, you have to clean it up!' followed by 'Well, if you're not going to clean up your mess, then I'll make a mess, too!  Yippey!' ... Hahahaha!  'Let's all make a mess!'  They were planning to go on a little round with the bicycles, so we took our leave, after two hours of fun.

About an hour's rest back home, then off we were again, this time to Numansdorp to visit Micky, as she had some questions for AW about certain plants in the garden.  Loads of catching up with Outlander stories (she has Netflix).  The culmination was a huge pot of chicken soup, which was super yummy!  We all had large bowls as the soup was meant to be a meal, meaning dinner, and we each had two servings, so AW and I were super stuffed by the time we left.  In fact, so full that we didn't need to eat anything else.

What a fabulous day!  The weather had changed, it was a bit chillier, but that did not detract from the fun at all.
