Who knew that 'Meta' could be a first name? I saw this on a tombstone in New Calton graveyard on my way to Holyrood Park for my walk this morning. It was appropriate that I spotted it today because this afternoon I posted to my blog a short post about Katherine's doctoral study on metaskills.
The other excitement of the day was a trip to campus to bring home one of the monitors from my office. This is to replace one at the flat that has died on us. I also indulged my newly-acquired gardening obsession with an afternoon of bagging up home-made compost (in the heap that we have been adding to for several years) for later use in our garden makeover project.
Exercise today: walking (20,438 steps).
