Sylvia's brothers are both back at school. Both parents work full time, albeit at home. She was set some maths by her dad, who is a building surveyor, and spent the morning working out the square footage of each room in the house. (At 7, she is bright spark!)
Anyway, I walked round there to see if she wanted some attention and fresh air. She came out for a walk with me and then painted some clay tags. No help from me whatsoever. I think they are fab.
I managed not to hug or kiss her but will admit to holding her hand to cross the road.
I have missed her.
Later in the day, I went to work to check on and water the garden. It is in full bloom and looks fantastic.
