While the storm batters the windows

It's been an inactive day for me. I did plan to exercise this afternoon. But the incessant greyness and drizzle morphed into serious rain, wind and a drop in temperature. My enthusiasm waned and I turned my attention to kitchen things.

Jasper hunted with success. Shadow showed great interest in the "trophy". In return Jasper made it clear who was king cat. Shadow was wise enough to watch from a distance. Meanwhile I locked the cat door and left them to sort out the pecking order.

Today's gratitude: For a video call with my lovely sister and bro-in-law.
