Say "White Rabbit"

For good luck on the 1st of the month is a saying with a long history in the UK and in North America.

I had not heard of this until Alexa reminded me this morning. Apparently Pat had heard of this and decided to set a Reminder.

Alexa also advised that the weather today is Showers with a High of 15C and a low of 8C.

I have just filled in the final electricity meter readings for June and our heating consumption is up 28% on the month and other usage is up 24%, compared to June last year.

The latter half of June has been very dreich and this is reflected in increased electricity usage.

The heating controls are fully automatic and there is a separate control for each room. The biggest change is weather.
