Seajacks Scylla

A ship should be able to stand on its own, four feet. These yellow headed monsters were delivered from Dubai on the back of an Osprey (see 2nd May blip). Now they need a different sort of lorry to carry them out into the Moray Firth, where they will support floating wind turbines. Don't ask me how, by the way.

To give you an idea of scale, our house on top of the porridge hill is over 300 foot up, and we can see the top of that crane sticking up well over the horizon.

For the crane to lift one of those things without the ship capsizing, it needs to put down feet. Like this.

Strikes me that Scylla, being a mythical sea monster, is a good name for this juggernaut. But where's Charybdis?
