Visit to Jan’s house for lunch

... where we were suitably socially distanced.  Our first get together for months and the idea had been that we would sketch in the garden after lunch.  Well the weather had other plans.  It was lovely to see them and we were able to catch up with some of their artwork and  and to explore Jan’s garden and the things she’s been doing to it.  She lives in a very rural spot on the edge of the Pennines but the large and mature trees enclose the garden and keep it feeling safe.

The house is built in the Arts and Crafts style and the entrance hall is furnished to reflect this, so I thought i’s take advantage while I was there.
So two images today, one with camera movement as captured by Slow Shutter and a much straighter shot in extra.
