Grainy Greenfinch

A blustery grey day and an overdue report kept me close to the computer all day, but during my breaks I watched the garden birds. Both adults and young are using the sunflower seed feeders - including this rather greedy juvenile Greenfinch.. For the first time this year we seem to have had a nesting pair of House Sparrows - it's been good to see them regularly on the feeders.
