Ma'am

I have no idea if the Queen has a Bentley. Seeing this beauty reminded me of royal visits when I was a child.

The lines and shape reminded me of a glimpse of a royal Rolls when I was young.

Mum took me to see the Queen drive past. I was maybe 7 years old. It involved getting dressed up, going to town (Auckland) early and standing for what seemed hours, on K Rd near the corner with Symonds St.

In a split second the Rolls rolled by and that was it. I remember turning to Mum and saying "is that it?". I didn't get it.

Anyway, this grand old Bentley with its gracious British lines made me stop and smile. I love that license plate.
