Day 110

Woo hoo. Had a haircut today. All the hairdressers and barbers except 2 had queues outside. Mine was appointment only as was Alan’s . So I popped in and made him an appointment for Monday. They will all know they have worked hard at the end of the day. Full PPE, facemasks worn by all customers and staff had face shields. No towels were used just paper rolls and the gowns were disposable.
Church Riad , which is the main shopping street was quite busy with almost every store open. Only 3 charity shops remained closed. Sadly a barbers has gone and so has a card shop. The later was going anyway as her husband dropped dead in front of her after breakfast one morning in January. She was staying open Until April to sell as much stock as she could. Then lockdown happened.
Went to pick the blueberries and the birds have stripped all 5 bushes - that’s a first.
The picture is my climbing hydrangea. I cut it back hard each October and it flowers profusely the following summer.
