We Didn't Start The Fire

It was Independence Day in America yesterday, and given the current tensions between Westminster and the devolved governments, it's becoming more apparent that people in this part of the world want change. Support for independence has jumped to it's highest level recorded by a Panelbase poll for The Sunday Times and raises the prospect of a second referendum within a year of next May's Holyrood elections.

Went to the supermarket today, thought the snood was "current", but the hair leaves a lot to be desired, given it hasn't been cut for over three months.

My album of the day is "Audible Sigh" by The Vigilantes Of Love from Athens, Georgia. First heard of them on the Whispering Bob Harris overnight show, saw them in bizarre circumstances in a small room of a church hall in Paisley along with 30 other people in the 90's. A happy set of folk/rock songs with a variation of lyrical themes and tempos. Bill Mallonee is an underrated singer/songwriter, haven't a clue if their still a band.
