A couple of odd things happened today.
Number one was that I went into the office for the first time since March. I had to travel on the bus though. And there was a classic piece of brainlessness - one of the reasons I'm not going to be going back to office on a daily basis. Everyone has to wear a mask when they travel by bus. One woman was wearing her mask but she pulled it down to have a good old cough. And not a cough into her elbow as per recommendations but just an uncovered cough into the bus. Thanks for that you stupid & selfish A***.
Next surprise was the ticket inspectors - haven't seen them since March either. Caught quite a few people travelling without tickets.
The office was unsurprisingly empty and a bit sad looking. Maybe it's missing us.
Next surprise was on the way home - until now the front row of seats on the busses have been taped off so you can't sit there or get in the front doors or buy tickets. That changed on some busses, including the one I was on. You could actually get out of the front doors.
And when I got out of the bus I saw this painted pebble.
As Mondays go, it was bearable.
There was the the very sad news that Ennio Morricone died. He wrote some of my favourite film music.
