Juvenile Gull at Tankerton

We took Doreen for a windswept trip along the seafront from Tankerton almost to Whitstable and back this afternoon. Well, it was windswept on the way out, into the wind and sun. On the way back it was most pleasant with the sun and the wind behind us. Wonderful sharp light, clear atmosphere and extensive views of the Thames estuary, the forts and myriads of off shore wind turbines.

Had a cup of takeaway tea from the Continental Hotel at the mid point of the walk and sat enjoying the sunshine as you can see in the extra.

One of the hardest Joe Wicks workouts today - we did Saturdays - (5 minutes abs 20 seconds work, 10 rest), 20 minutes workout (40 seconds work, 20 seconds rest) with no break half way through. Finished off with 5 minutes cardio. Then 15 minutes warm down. Ready for a dustbin portion of porridge after that.

Today's blip is a contribution to MonoMonday - Alone - hosted by 60plus. Thank you. Obviously well schooled in social distancing.
