Birds and butterflies

Today we set off early again and started walking the next section of the South West Coast path between West Bay and Abbotsbury. The wind which was behind us must have blown us along. We rarely beat the time it says in the book (the SWCP bible). The book said 6 hours and we did it in 4.5 hours. The only sore point was that the bus to take us back to the beginning was 45 minutes late arriving, it was empty when it did arrive so was just the two of us with our masks on sitting in a bus with more seats out of bounds than you were allowed to sit on. We both had visions of having to walk all the way back, 10 miles, as there was no chance of a taxi.
The extra shows the climb out ofWest At and the main shot shows my husband just reaching the top of the third and final summit of the day. We had to walk along shingle for a couple of miles which isn’t easy. The weather was fine and I wondered what the bird in my second extra was, maybe a juvenile starling. Butterflies were abundant.
