How to survive the drive

As regular visitors to my journal will know, we've been dying to visit distant family (who isn't?) We've been self-isolating and so have our offspring, but we live 6 hours' drive away from our daughter (and 4 or 5 from our son). However, yesterday we managed the 2-hour drive to Mr PP's sister in Somerset without a break. Then, bless them, they loaned us their motor home, which enabled us to complete the journey to Lincolnshire without calling at service stations or coming in contact with anyone else. So here we are.

It's such a joy to see Family B and we're delighted that Little Miss B wasn't at all shy with us, and seemed to remember us (or our voices?) even though she was only 7 months old when we last saw her, and is now 11 months. Need I say she is utterly adorable? And she has a highly infectious giggle. Contentment reigns.
