enjoying the sunshine

I took a day off to visit the zoo. We had considered stopping our membership of the zoo given the kids have grown up a bit and aren't that interested anymore. Then Covid19 happened and we figured it would be mean to stop our support at this time. So, given that we can visit the zoo again we drummed up the teenagers and got on our bikes to get to the zoo. First time we took the bikes there. Once we were there even the teenagers enjoyed it. It was lovely to see the animals. There are lots of little ones. I particularly liked the little ant eater getting carried by its parent (see extra). There meerkats are good as always, this one seems to have partied quite hard the night before. We got back in the afternoon and enjoyed the rest of the day without doing very much.
