Wednesday

The forecast was passable so decided to go a bit further afield.. Beetham Garden centre. Not a highly exciting place but we were after a special pot so it was worth the trip..and it gave the car a run..
A walk in Abbey H woods first of course.

2 sets of roadworks en route but thewthe garden centre was not too busy. The cafe was open but only for ' take away' food. ( Cakes and sandwiches mostly ) Some people were sat at tables eating. We didn't stop for a coffee..the loos weren't open and it's almost an hour's drive from home.

A number of people were wearing masks but everyone was observing the social distancing rule .  We found a nice roughcast planter and after a bit of a wander drove back. The Lake District hills looked very dark in the distance but it didn't rain on us

Back home and I took a photo of one of our bonsai on the new bonsai stand M has just got to show friends in the bonsai group.  (Blip)

A slight drizzle when I took Fletch out at teatime ...heavens opened fully later this evening!

Still no news re my Great niece/nephew.
