Cleveland Museum of Art

Atrium well-lit by sunshine today.
Extra: north lounge facing Wade Oval and Case Western Reserve University - not a soul in sight.

The museum opened less than two weeks ago.  Tickets were required by advance registration to limit visitors.  Strict protocols were in place and mostly observed.  A wonderful afternoon in the galleries with  exhibitions of the work of Ilse Bing, "Queen of the Leica" and British painters.

Some of today's favorites:
-  Madeleine Lerolle and Her Daughter, Albert Besnard
- The Young Eastern Woman, Friedrich Amerling
- Portrait of Nathaniel Olds, Jeptha Homer Wade
- Portrait of a Shade, Ilse Bing
- Gray and Gold, John Rogers Cox

Thank you for visiting.
