Where the Light Gets In

After the shadows

reflected sunlight
on shredded banks of cloudage
the golden hour

How surprising it always is to me to come out of a cinema and it is still light outside. On my way back home, I could not pass this view without photographing it.

The film was Mr Jones (the title is much more explicit in French; its literal translation would be Stalin's Shadow...). Impressive biographical essay based on Gareth Jones' discovery of Holomodor, the famine-induced genocide in Ukraine in 1932-33.
