Waraburra

These tiny wildflowers were growing near the elevated walkway that runs through the wetlands at Sydney Park.

I’m pretty sure they’re hardenbergia violacea, a native pea known as false sarsaparilla, purple coral pea, happy wanderer and, in the Kattang language of northern NSW, waraburra.

The flowers are as small as the nail on your little finger.
