When one border closes another opens

Today the New South Wales - Queensland border opens. I heard on the radio that hundreds of caravans are queuing at Barringun on the border, waiting for the magic moment.

The photo is from our stop in Barringun on the way home from an outback trip in 2016. There's a pub at Barringun and not much else. In 2016 the population was seven.

The extra shows the kind of scenery the caravanners will be seeing as they wait.
