Chamomile

I love the way the margin of this field is left to do its thing with wild flowers. Thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting the challenge

This was taken on a fairly early walk as we had a morning visit from our elder son and grandson. The first time I've been able to cuddle and hold the wee guy since lockdown happened. Wonderful to see and be able to play with him. Still have to physically distance from our son of course. We were in the garden because it's a beautiful day but if it hadn't been we could have been in the house.

We are now able to start thinking about a bit of childminding to help the parents, all of whom are trying to work from home and look after children. I have no idea how they have managed. It's enough of a challenge to do one of those things but with both responsibilities it's been so hard for them all. I think they are all exhausted. We are looking forward to being able to help.

After they'd gone I had a Community Council zoom meeting with our MP. It was good to reflect on what the CC has achieved so far during lockdown and what we have learned for any future crisis (let's hope there isn't one but who knows). And indeed what other plans we have for the future.

I'm heading into the garden now to do a bit of repotting, watering, weeding and cutting back. Flora needs another walk but that can wait.

Wishing everyone a good and safe weekend.
