Slimbridge

We took our longest day out since lockdown started, driving to the Slimbridge Wetland Centre in Gloucestershire run by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.  This is somewhere we have often thought about going but never got around to it, though Ann did go when she was at school.

They have recently reopened after lockdown eased and limited the number of visitors, booking required, and closed off parts of the site. The cafe is still closed too.

It was a good day, weather-wise the best day of the week.  We really enjoyed looking round the numerous lakes and visiting some of the hides.  I ended up taking about 120 photos, maybe got a bit carried away!  I've picked just a few to throw into a collage as there is no way I could pick just one favourite.
